Accessing my TPL Permit of Valuer registration




Q: How do I access my licence/registration?

The Web site allows access to your licence/registration in two modes:

  • Unregistered user
  • Registered user
As an Unregistered user, you can access your licence by using the Customer Reference Number and Transaction Number provided to you when you perform a licence transaction.

To become a Registered user you need to set up a User Id and Password by clicking on the Login/out link in the home page. Use your Customer Reference Number and Transaction Number [as above] then use the 'Set-up a new User Account' link to create a User Id. Then you can link the licences that you want to access to that User Id. You must register only if you manage several licences and want to manage them as a group.

Q: How do I get a Customer Reference Number?

You will receive a Customer Reference Number:

  • when you lodge your application, amendment or renewal request online
  • on the your licence/registration mailed to you by the licensing authority (some authorities may send it in a separate letter for security purposes)
  • on the renewal form mailed to you by the licensing authority.

You can also request a Customer Reference Number to be mailed to you by contacting the licensing authority using details provided on the Contact Us page on this Web site.

Q: I requested a Customer Reference Number and have not received it yet, what do I do?

In the interests of your security, the licensing authority will mail the Customer Reference Number to you. Generally you can expect to receive the Customer Reference Number within five working days. If there is a delay, please contact the licensing authority using details provided on the Contact Us page on this Web site.

Q: When is my Customer Reference Number obsolete?

The Customer Reference Number will become obsolete when

  • It has been used to create a User Id/ Password.
  • It has been used to link the associated licence/registration type/licence number with a User Id/ Password.
  • If it has not been used for a period determined by your licence/registration type.
  • A number of failed attempts have been made to obtain access to a licence type/licence number using the Customer Reference Number. The number of allowed attempts will vary by your licence type.
  • The licence type/licence number has a status that precludes online activities (eg cancelled).

Q: How do I create a User Id and Password?

Select the Login/out hyperlink item in the top right hand corner of your home screen, and follow the prompts. You will need a Customer Reference Number and Transaction Number to login as a first time user. You will receive a Customer Reference Number for each licence from the licensing authority. If you have not received one, you can request a Customer Reference Number to be mailed to you by contacting the licensing authority using details provided on the Contact Us page on this Web site.

Q: I have forgotten my User Id, how can I login to the Web site?

If you have just received your renewal then use the Customer Reference Number provided on the renewal form to login to this Web site. You can request a Customer Reference Number to be mailed to you by contacting the licensing authority using details provided on the Contact Us page on this Web site. After obtaining your Customer Reference Number, choose the Login/Out link and enter the information requested on the page to login to this Web site.

Q: I have forgotten my Password, how can I login to the Web site?

You should request a new Customer Reference Number from the licensing authority for each licence.

Q: I have more than one licence, how can I link them together on the Web site?

You will need a current Customer Reference Number for each licence that you wish to link to your User Id.

  • Step 1- Select one licence and use the Login option to create a User Id and Password.
  • Step 2 - Use the licence link option of the licence list page.

Q: I have received another Customer Reference Number (for example on a renewal form) and I have a User Id, which should I use to login?

You should login using the User Id.

Q: How do I remove my User Id from this Web site?

Send an e-mail to the address provided in the Contact Us link in the home page.
