This application can only be completed on behalf of a Corporation. If you are an individual running a business, you must complete an application by an Individual for a Master Licence.
To complete the application, the corporation must:
- specify a “Nominated Person” that is either an Australian citizen or permanent Australian resident (includes New Zealand citizens), or who holds a visa for a skilled occupation to which the activities authorised by the proposed licence correspond, is a Close Associate, and who is involved in the day to day conduct of the applicant’s security activities;
- provide a current ABN issued in the corporation name. (ABNs issued to a Trust cannot be accepted);
- disclose ALL Close Associates as defined in section 5 of the Security Industry Act 1997 by completing a Close Associate Nomination Form for EACH and EVERY Close Associate; and
- obtain and maintain public liability insurance cover of at least $10, 000,000 if the corporation intends to provide persons to carry on security activities involving the use of firearms, dogs or horses.
